Snowmen Books and Pigtails

We did make it past the Holidays in case you were wondering. Faye is back to school and she told me to talk about her Valentines party...Although I'm not sure if she means the one we had here at our house last week for all the kids in the ward or the one she's having in preschool tomorrow, both are of equal importance to her I beleive. She's getting so big and loves to make up songs about random things and dance...the girl LOVES to dance.

Lydia's grown leaps and bounds the last couple months...not physically of course she's doomed to be a shorty for life. Sorry hun it's the genes. But she a lil blabber mouth if she's not repeating everything she hears she's comming up with her oun little hilarious nonsensical phrases. She loves and HAS to be the center of attention and when Faye goes to preschool she's in dreamland with Mom and Dad all to herself. Of course when Faye doesn't go to school her dreamland turns into Mom and Dads nightmare as she wakes up in the middle of the night demanding her one-on-one time then. They are the loves of my life.

I am just trying to keep up with the girls. And Mark and I are grasping kisses and hugs in passing. Nothings harder than not getting to spend every moment with my darling husband. Things are better when he's around, but school and work keep him away for long hours. It's difficult for sure although I couldn't be more proud of my man and all his hard work.

And thats it for now. XOXO and Take care.

What a Christmas...

We had quite the
MERRY Christmas at our house. I mean look at that face have you EVER seen a happier lil girl?! Faye's still telling ppl "...and I got EVERYTHING I wanted." She was very gracious in receiving and was very excited about giving the gift to Grandma and grandpa that she'd helped with. We all made out a little to well when all was said and done...Santa was good to us. It was a
blessing to spend a Holiday that means so much to me right here at home with my little family. We stayed in Logan, but luckily were able to see both Mark's and my side of the family throughout the break. Mark's parents came up before Christmas ans brought A LOT of christmas cheer in the form of a Barbie house that Kent built. We met up with My family back home and rang in the New Year with a suprise Birthday party my Mom put togather for my Dad's 60th. It was a blast. So now Faye's a Sunbeam such a big girl. She's back in preschool and is LOVING it. Lydia talks about her the whole time she's gone (she's talking in sentances at times just the last couple days it's been crazy to hear what comes outta her mouth). Mark's also back to school although with somewhat less enthuziasm than Faye. :) As for me I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things. Break from the norm is awesome.
