What a Christmas...

We had quite the
MERRY Christmas at our house. I mean look at that face have you EVER seen a happier lil girl?! Faye's still telling ppl "...and I got EVERYTHING I wanted." She was very gracious in receiving and was very excited about giving the gift to Grandma and grandpa that she'd helped with. We all made out a little to well when all was said and done...Santa was good to us. It was a
blessing to spend a Holiday that means so much to me right here at home with my little family. We stayed in Logan, but luckily were able to see both Mark's and my side of the family throughout the break. Mark's parents came up before Christmas ans brought A LOT of christmas cheer in the form of a Barbie house that Kent built. We met up with My family back home and rang in the New Year with a suprise Birthday party my Mom put togather for my Dad's 60th. It was a blast. So now Faye's a Sunbeam such a big girl. She's back in preschool and is LOVING it. Lydia talks about her the whole time she's gone (she's talking in sentances at times just the last couple days it's been crazy to hear what comes outta her mouth). Mark's also back to school although with somewhat less enthuziasm than Faye. :) As for me I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things. Break from the norm is awesome.

For those of you who thought I was kidding...

...well I wasn't. ^^

This is Faye's 1st Program ever it was the Holiday program for her Preschool. I've never seen her more excited for anything...and once we experienced it....well let's just say I'm glad we brought the camera. They had her front and center and I'll never know why :P

...Mom and Dad were soo proud we took her out to McDonalds for dinner ;)

And now...Halloween

This year was the 1st year Faye was able to chose her own costume when I asked her what she wanted to dress up as I mortified to hear the word "Princess" escape her lips. Not that I have anything against the idea just that after her huge Princess Birthday bash, and nearly 20 princess dress-ups and accessories I was hoping for something a bit different. Giving into the will of my dominating 3 yr old I asked what princess she had in mind. Her answer made me so excited I think I actually clapped "I want to be sleeping princess BiOna" Faye-to-english translation "Princess Fiona" That's all it took, I was back on board, my princess dress wearing daughter wanted to be an ogre for Halloween. With Faye's creative help and me realizing how much Lydia's body build looked like Boo from Monster's Inc. we also had a costume for Lydia. It was a blast of a day and for all the sighs I had about princess's Faye talked me into dressing up as Snow White. ^^
